Katy Bagshaw has been doing stand-up comedy since November 2004 and is currently performing on the UK comedy circuit as both stand-up comedians and MC, and as an accomplished sketch writer and performer. Katy has an extremely confident manner on stage and a strong presence. With a style ranging from topical, through surreal to the insane she is certainly very original, and at a statuesque 6ft cuts a very fine figure.
Within the first month of her comedy debut, Katy was invited to write material for BBC New Comedy and her achievements, so far, include starring in ''Paul Foot's Guide to Mothers'' (taking the lead role as Eve in the ''Garden of Eden'' sketch), and reaching the semi-finals of the prestigious ''So You Think You're Funny'', and ''Funny Women'' competitions.
Katy Bagshaw shows a strong range of acting skills, both in comedic and straight roles, and has been praised for her improvisational and writing skills.
