You need no better reference for Nick Doody's talents than the fact that he supported the later, great Bill Hicks on his final UK tour at the personal invitation of the great man himself. He has also been proclaimed as ''the new Denis Leary'' and worked regularly alongside Britain's own king of political comic satire, Mark Thomas.Nick Doody is simply one of the brightest, radical talents on the comedy circuit. Sharp, topical and not afraid to say what he thinks his brand of political comedy and satire has won fans all over the country.
But that doesn't mean he takes himself or life too seriously. He combines the satirical with the surreal and the silly to create his own parallel universe, where 'friendly fire' means exactly that and 'arrogant t-shirts' get the pasting they deserve.
