Described as ''brilliant'' by no lesser judge than Harry Enfield, and looking like someone out of Steps or S Club, baby-faced comic Stephen Grant is one of the success stories of modern British comedy.Widely regarded as one of the best comperes on the UK circuit, he plays host to over 500 people at his own club every weekend in Brighton.
In August 1998 he made his Edinburgh debut to sell out audiences at the Pleasance theatre, where he was the main subject of the six-part TV series Edinburgh or Bust.
When he's not performing, Stephen is a prolific and highly successful writer, having been the lead comedy writer for Radio since 1999 and has written for everyone from Zoe Ball to the late John Peel, and Mark & Lard. Additionally, Stephen has also written for BBC1 Saturday flagship show Live & Kicking as well as providing material for artists as diverse as Lily Savage to S-Club 7. He has also presented three series for BBC 2 in Stephen Grant's journey to the Wasteland, The 29 Steps and The Estate We're In.
